Coconut Cream Cake

This was pure coconut decadence at it's best. Coconut cake, made with organic coconut oil, sweetened coconut, coconut syrup, and coconut buttercream. It was decorated with a tractor, and a few chickens on top as requested. This cake smelled amazing!

Penguin and Locket Cake

I received an order for a Birthday cake, that had to include 2 girl penguins, heart lockets, and hot pink, as the
birthday girl's favorite things. I made one penguin holding the heart locket, with a hot pink bow on her head, and the other penguin was popping out of the water with a heart key in her mouth, also with a pink bow. Dressed with hot pink royal icing, strawberries and jam filling, and white cake, topped with vanilla buttercream and fondant decor.

Under Water Fishie Cake

This is a cake that was inspired by a coworker of mine. She loves little fish, and draws them every chance she gets. So, for her 21st birthday, I made her a under the sea cake, as a surprise. She was almost in tears when I showed her. I used fondant for the fish, with yummy candy chocolate centers, and fondant decor over home made buttercream frosting.

Serena's Custom Cakes and More

My name is Serena Flores, and I design custom cakes and cupcakes. I have been baking since I was very young, and have a love for any form of art. I started experimenting with cakes for friends and family's birthdays, and my experience has progressed over 12 years now. I have designed and constructed cakes for baby showers, birthdays, and created specialty cupcakes, and much more. I like to experiment with different flavors, from key lime cheesecake, to banana split, to whiskey chocolate, to butterscotch. I have tested many flavors, and I have gotten nothing but compliments for my risk taking success. I am willing to try anything, and love challenges.
